I am a Graphic Designer who is from England, has an American accent, and lives in Southern Virginia. I graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina in 2012 with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.

I have both work experience and training in many different areas of design, with a strong background in typographical and editorial compositions. Currently I am the Business Affairs Graphic Designer for Virginia Tech. I work on visual materials for many different audiences including, but not limited faculty, staff, the Board of Visitors, students, and the surrounding community.

I grew up living and traveling around the world experiencing different cultures. I have been drawn to both art and design throughout those travels, and I've been able to appreciate the differences in ideas and ideologies of those cultures. This has given me a unique insight into different audiences when working on design projects. I have a background in printmaking, calligraphy, book arts, photography, and sign engraving. These are strengths that I regularly incorporate into my design aesthetic.
